Do you want to join the task force to help plan for the future of Comanche County? Applications will be accepted between October 5 to October 26, 2020.

Goals of the Task Force:
1. To establish or affirm a community-wide vision, or the mental picture, for the future of the county;
2. To identify community assets, strengths, and opportunities for expansion or growth;
3. To validate goals and priorities for the following topics: Growth and development, Economic Development, Community facilities and infrastructure, Transportation, Parks and Recreation, Housing.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. As frequently as monthly meetings from November. 2020-Dec. 2021, approximately 1.5 hours each;
2. Virtual Meetings on Zoom, and potential in-person meetings;
3. Use Base-camp, the online project management site, to communicate with the group;
4. Communicate progress with other community members and advocate for their interests.
5. Willingness to provide outreach and engagement to the broader community.

Due to COVID-19 most meetings will be virtual or in a small group setting, to be on the task force you must:
1. Have access to a computer or cell phone with the capability to connect to zoom
2. Or be able to join us at meetings at the civic center to participate in a small group virtual meeting.

The information you provide in this form will be used by Texas A&M's Texas Target Communities program to guide the appointments of the task force members.
