The evaluation process helps ensure the quality of the externship experience for both the externship site and the extern, and provides an opportunity for the field placement supervisor and the extern to discuss the extern's performance. We ask all Externship Supervisors to discuss the content of the evaluation with the students since feedback is vital to the learning process.
