Porterville College Lending Library Agreement

The Lending Library provides textbooks and other instructional items to students for free and for the full-length of the semester. Quantities are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Please complete the below form to be placed on a queue to potentially be able to check-out a Lending Library book/item. Filling out this form does not guarantee a Lending Library books/items as all items are available on first come, first served basis. All students requesting a laptop will be placed on a wait-list and contacted in the order that the Lending Library Agreement is received. A full list of all the textbooks/items offered by the Lending Library is available at https://www.portervillecollege.edu/about-pc/library

All Lending Library textbooks/items are due on the last day of the current semester. Lending Library items: books, calculators and iClickers can be returned to the Library via the book drop-off bin located in front of the Student Center/Cafeteria Building on Porterville College's campus. Laptops and other electronic devices must be returned by scheduled appointment. Please contact the Library for details on how to schedule the return of the laptop or other electronic device at 559-791-8123. All items for each semester are due by the last day of the current semester.

All Lending Library items will need to be picked up in-person and returned in-person; we are unable to mail or receive through mail any items that are available in the Lending Library to students. Only Porterville College students are eligible for Lending Library items (Porterville College must be listed as your home school in Banner and email address must be a Porterville College email address).

Failure to return the item(s) upon request will result in a fee(s) assessed to my student account to replace the item(s)

Failure to comply with the above conditions may result in the termination of this service.
