Charger Reading Challenge
Beginning on Sunday, April 12, Charger Nation is engaged in a great battle for reading supremacy.  Who are the most prolific readers in the school?  Does the title belong to the teachers and staff?  Or do students deserve this accolade?  

Please use the form below to record your student's reading pages over the course of the next several weeks.  You can fill this form out every day, every week, or whenever your child reads a book.

We have divided students into teams so that they may join forces with another grade level in the school.  All you need to do is select the team for whom your student is earning points, their name, the title of their book(s), and amount of pages read.  

Double Points are awarded for certain activities.  A description of each bonus week can be found in Dr. Julie's weekly emails and in the form below.

2) The joy of reading quality literature to someone else or by yourself
3) Increased knowledge and understanding of time and space
4) Comfy days for the rest of the YEAR!

Any other prizes?
1) Top readers will be recognized every week for their reading prowess
2) Winning team will be recognized at the end of the contest and given a donut party upon our next opportunity to meet together.
3) Top readers (who read over 2000 pages) will be recognized with a Top KCS Reader yard sign or magnet
