This group is for family members and friends who have a loved one who is struggling with substance use. Trying to help your loved one can be isolating, frustrating, painful, overwhelming. Finding a moment of peace for yourself can feel out of reach. Invitation to Change is a framework based in science and kindness that provides skills that will help you stay connected with your loved one while creating an environment supportive of change. As you develop new ways of helping your loved one, you will also learn new skills for taking care of yourself, all within a supportive group setting.
This group is ongoing, so you can join any time. We focus on a new set of skills every session, and complete the full set of skills in 15 sessions. You are welcome to attend all 15 sessions, and then continue with the group for the next round!
After you submit the registration form, you will receive an email from lucinda@lucindarcounseling with the physical address and/or the Google Meet link. You will also receive information on how to access the group materials.
