Welcome to our International Arts Residency Program.
Jupiterfab Arts Residency is a Not For Profit Organization that supports art projects and artists who creates social impact. We invite international artists from different disciplines to live, work and join our community. The period of stay is between one and six months. At the end of your stay, you will have the opportunity to organize a final event (e.g., exhibit, installation, etc.) for the artist in our central patio.
The residence is located in a classic colonial house that is part of the historic heritage of the city. The house has been completely renovated and all its rooms are filled with light. It is located in the vibrant neighborhood of Guadalajara, Colonia Americana, recently elected as the "coolest neighborhood" of the world (according to TIME OUT).
Guadalajara is also kissed by an incredible climate. All the year long we have sun, it's dry and days are warm and nights fresh.

Three working and living spaces. All spaces have all the basic requirements for you to live and work. Also support for logistics and communications.
__________PROFILE:
Although it’s not a requirement, we encourage you to work on projects relating to our community and/or relevant social topics, such as gentrification, immigration, social justice, poverty, homelessness, etc.
_________ACCOMMODATION / STUDIO (Each studio costs 500$ per month)
SPACE A
One bedroom (5×3 meters) + studio (4×4 meters) for one artist
This space can host artists who need separate spaces (sleeping and working).
SPACE B
One big bedroom/studio (5 x 5 meters)
This space is suitable for artists working in media that don’t require separate working and sleeping spaces.
SPACE C
One big bedroom/studio (5 x 4 meters)
NOTE: In case of a duo sharing a studio, you will have to submit information and there will be an extra fee of 100 $ per month.

Bienvenido a este espacio de residencias que la organización JUPITERFAB ha creado para apoyar proyectos de arte y artistas que crean impacto social, que tiene lugar en el corazón de Guadalajara, en la colonia Americana, recién nombrada el barrio mas cool del mundo por TIME OUT.
El clima es increible, practicamente todo el año tenemos sol, el nivel de humedad es bajisimo, los días son calidos y las noches frescas!
Duración mínima de 1 a 6 meses .

Ofrecemos la oportunidad a artistas de diferentes lugares y disciplinas para desarrollar un proyecto y exponerlo al final de la residencia. Se ofrece apoyo en difusión y logística. Un espacio dónde vivir y donde trabajar (Hasta 3 artistas a la vez).
Además del contacto con la comunidad , espacios para intervenir, así como colores vinílicos bases y escaleras/andamio necesarios.
___________PERFIL:
Buscamos proyectos con impacto social, posiblemente con enfoque en: Arte urbano, comunitario, Justicia social, Migración, Pobreza, Gentrificación, Ecología, étc.
___________INFORMACIÓN ESPACIO
Ofrecemos dos espacios: (cada uno 500 US$ al mes)
que también incluyen el acceso a cocina, comedor, patio central y patio de atrás.
Espacio A:
Dormitorio de 4×4 m2 y un estudio donde trabajar de 4×4 m2. Los dos espacios están conectados. Es un espacio ideal si un artista quiere dividir el espacio donde dormir y el espacio de trabajo. El estudio tiene una ventana en el techo que garantiza una buena iluminación durante todo el día.
Espacio B:
Cuarto de 5 x5 m2 donde el artista podrá vivir y trabajar.
Espacio C:
Cuarto de 5 x4 m2 donde el artista podrá vivir y trabajar.
OJO: En caso de un duo compartiendo un estudio, deberás de enviarnos informaciones y se aplicará un costo extra de 100$ al mes
