Problem Solving in Advanced Physics (Year 12 and 13 Students)
Lead by our Head of Physics, Dr Aurora Gutierrez-Sosa, the University of Liverpool Maths school is offering a free to attend online course on Problem Solving in Advanced Physics. This course will be an opportunity for keen physicists to apply the knowledge they are learning during A Level study to more complicated and involved scenarios. In particular, participants will look at questions from the Oxford PAT exams and the Physics Olympiads, and aims to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to advanced physics. Every week, questions will be provided in advance, giving participants time to think how they might approach the questions before discussing them in detail in the sessions.

Year 12 and 13 students with an interest in physics should find this course both challenging and enjoyable, and are all welcome to attend. Sessions commence on Wednesday 4 November and run weekly at 4:30pm.
