We are about to undergo a search for a new music director for Christ's Church Rye. We are looking to create a 7-person search committee to run that process and ultimately make final recommendations to Kate and the Vestry. The commitment will involve 5-10 hours a month, spread across a committee meeting and pre- and post-meeting work. Tasks will include researching the music needs of the Christ's Church parish and developing the selection criteria, to drafting the advertisement and getting it in the right places, to reviewing and interviewing candidates. Interview months can be more intensive in terms of hours.
