Welcome to DNA for ECRs – powered by DAAD, Kyoto University and The University of Tokyo (Doitsu-Nihon Academy for Early Career Researchers) . The first workshop (Academic self presentation) will be held on May 22nd 2021 at 16.00 - 20.00 (JST). This workshop is open to Early Career Researchers (ECRs) at Kyoto University including mainly Master and Ph.D. students. Priority will be given to female students for 2 out of 7 seats at Kyoto University. Participants from DAAD scholarship holders and alumni will be selected by DAAD.
Please register by noon May 10th 2021 (JST) if you wish to participate in the workshop.

Attending the first workshop in May is required in order to participate in the two-day workshop. Please note that the number of participants is limited (up to 7) and depending on demand, not everyone participating in the first workshop will be able to participate in the second workshop.

There will also be some independent group works both before and after the workshop that you are expected to complete.

Before and after the workshop there will be small group projects to deepen the learning. This involves preparing a short presentation or video. Do you have any experience with creating videos that you would like to mention?
