Hey there! What's your first name?
And your last name?
Cool, what's your email? *
We're open to anyHow old are you?
What's your gender identity?  (This info is only used to help us assign roommates)
Where are you located?
We conduct phone interviews - what's your number with area code? Please use 00 in place of + (the + symbol isn't friendly with our spreadsheets!). Also, we will connect with you to set up a time and place - we won't call you out of the blue :)  Lastly, if you strongly prefer an email interview, let us know that too. *
What trip are you applying for? *
New: to what degree are you interested in this trip?  (Mild interest does not deter us from your application; nor does full commitment absolutely guarantee a spot. Read your options to best understand this question!) *
Why this trip? What about it speaks to you?
What would you hope to gain from a TGL adventure? *
Do you have any former experience with travel? If so, how did it go? What motivates you to continue to travel?
Same question but now it's photography: What's your experience with photography? What do you shoot with? What type of photography do you do, or do you want to do? How have you come to decide you want to do a travel photography tour?
Because we work in and with underprivileged communities, cultural sensitivity and economic sensitivity is a must. TGL will educate you on expected behavior and practices around this kind of work. Are you willing and eager to listen and learn when it comes to images with sensitive content, such as poverty, emotion, or struggle? Some things don't go as planned when traveling, how do you feel about that? Even the most ideally planned trip is going to run into weather, sickness, a late arrival, or some kind of mix up. It's part of what makes travel so endearing and wild and fun. While we do everything we can for a smooth trip, we at TGL believe in flexibility, patience, adventure, and rolling with the punches. What do you think?
Are you on any medications? Any allergies, or diet restrictions? Some trips involve hiking, and all involve fairly long days – how would you rate your physical fitness?
Are you an Alumni? If so would you like your alumni discount OR opt to donate the discount to either TGL or the NGO? (There's no pressure, this is just a feature request by some alumni).  If this is your first time with us, select as such or skip this question :)
Can we ask how you found us?
Did anyone refer you to this trip?
