FBLA officers and members are expected to have a good attitude toward FBLA members and the school. If you are going to be a business leader, you are expected to act like one. It is our expectation that FBLA officers encourage members have a good time AND demonstrate leadership skills. All business and no play makes for a very boring future business leader.

As an member of your local chapter, the officer team will also be responsible for the following:
* Participate in an environment where all members can grow professionally;
* Stay informed about all organizational activities;
* Attend chapter meetings, participate in the planning processes and execution, and recruit FBLA members;
* Participate in local chapter, district/ regional, state, and national conferences and activities.

FBLA-PBL Code of Ethics

FBLA-PBL Creed
I believe:
- education is the right of every person.
- the future depends on mutual understanding and cooperation among business, industry,
labor, religious, family, and educational institutions, as well as people around the world.
I agree to do my utmost to bring about understanding
and cooperation among all of these groups.
- every person should prepare for a useful occupation and carry on that occupation in a

life.

- every person should take responsibility for carrying out assigned tasks in a manner that

FBLA-PBL Pledge
I solemnly promise to uphold the aims and responsibilities of Future Business Leaders of
America-Phi Beta Lambda and, as an active member, I shall strive to develop the qualities
necessary in becoming a responsible business leader.

As a local chapter member, are encouraged to:
- Attend Local Chapter meetings
- Attend GA FBLA Conferences:
* Fall Motivational Rally
* Fall Leadership Conference
* Region Leadership Conference
* State Leadership Conference.
- Participate in competitive events (objective tests, performance event)
- Complete at least one level of the Business Achievement Awards (current year of membership)
- Participate in local chapter event (Field trips, work shops, etc.) .
- Participate in community service project (Breast Cancer Awareness, March of Dimes, Caps for Cure, Toys for
Tots, Canned Food Drive, etc.).
