Good Grief Network: Winter 2020 10-Step Program
You've noticed that our major systems are collapsing and maybe you feel like you've gone mad.... We assure you, you haven't. Business-As-Usual is chugging along full force while you're witnessing a mass extinction event, the world's wealth hoarded by a few, massive polarization, blatant environmental injustices and so much more.

Are you feeling isolated because of your understanding of the current state of affairs? Are you looking for a space to grow and process your heavy emotions? Do you want to meet others who are concerned about the state of the world and co-envision ways to invest yourself into meaningful efforts?

The next digital round of the Good Grief Network's "10-Step to Personal Resilience & Empowerment in a Chaotic Climate" might be for you.

What is this program about?
It's a peer-to-peer support group. It's not a therapy program. This 10-week program is process-based, meaning the weekly meetings are the initial introduction. The real work happens when you unplug and integrate these lessons into your life. While in the meetings, we come together and share our experiences, wisdom, and passions with each other. We move through our emotions, open to new ways of thinking and seeing the predicament, and hopefully open to creative responses that are available to us. We create a brave, bold, and nuanced container to practice being vulnerable and calming our nervous system. We provide tools and an encouraging community that helps teach us how to sit with unpleasant feelings and metabolize them into meaningful action. These tools are necessary for anyone looking to sustain themselves for the long haul.

By appealing to our brains with research and resources, we open the door for more heart-centered work. We provide a gateway to practice opening and trusting our hearts, to transcend fear and re-establish connections. This creates a foundation of resilience and strength to show up outwardly as change-makers.

Starting in February, we will meet once weekly for 10 weeks. We will skip weeks with major holidays. The steps provide a ritual (same format each week) and help build community. While it's most beneficial to participate in all 10 weeks, you can still get something from each meeting you attend.

Aimee Lewis Reau & LaUra Schmidt have selected the times and dates for our next rounds of the program. We will be running three concurrent meetings. If interested, which ONE time works best for your schedule? This will be the same meeting time each week.

Mondays, noon-1:30pm Mountain Time (Starts February 17, 2020)
Tuesdays, 1-2:30pm Mountain Time (Starts February 18, 2020)
Tuesdays, 6-7:30pm Mountain Time (Starts February 18, 2020)

If you're interested in participating, sign up now and we'll email with more details on how to secure your place in the upcoming sessions.
