Welcome to our Northampton Parents Center and Northampton/Hadley Family Connection Programs for all families with young children (birth to kindergarten age)! We look forward to seeing you! We welcome families from all towns. All of our programs are FREE of charge. Donations are always welcome. Due to the pandemic we are asking families to preregister, both to be sure our group size is not too large and to be able to contact you in the event of a COVID-19 case in our community. Please read the following and then continue below to register.
This form updates each week between Friday and Sunday afternoon with the schedule sign up for the week ahead. You can save the link to return to for the weeks ahead.

UPDATED! NEW!
Northampton Parents Center’s COVID-19 Pandemic Social Contract
Spring 2022
*Beginning March 14, 2022, NPC's OUTDOOR programs will be mask-optional:*
Due to the current decrease in community spread and COVID cases in Hampshire County, and considering the general safety and low-spread in the outdoors, as well as the feedback from our families (via a poll and conversations), our OUTDOOR playgroups will be mask optional. This is subject to change, as metrics change. Still, our families are all families with young children who cannot yet be vaccinated, and so we ask families to consider distancing and to be mindful of the comfort level of other families present. Please respect the wishes and needs of the families with your family at playgroups. We ask that you stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19. We have the expectation that families will consider the health and well-being of each other. We welcome your feedback on these guidelines. Please speak with our facilitators if your family is having any challenges with our protocols.
For all NPC INDOOR Programs:
Because our youngest participants are unable to be vaccinated against COVID-19, we are keeping our mask guidelines for ages 2 and up, even though the City of Northampton has removed their mask mandate. We recommend wearing KN-95 masks or the equivalent to our indoor playgroups, and we encourage all who are able to get vaccinated and boosted. We have open windows, an air purifier, and an upgraded air circulation system.
NPC aims to offer safe, healthy programming for all of our families with young children. To be able to do that, we seek your full support and cooperation with the COVID-19 public health and safety guidelines.
* I agree that I will wear a face mask properly (see note below)
* I agree that all children in my care, ages 2 and above, will wear a mask
* I agree to stay home if I or any of my family/social unit members has symptoms associated with any kind of illness or has had known exposure to COVID-19.
* I agree to give names and contact information for all of my family’s participating members, in the event that contact tracing is necessary
* I understand that I am responsible for myself and the children in my care at all times
If these guidelines become challenging for you or your family, please reach out to our facilitators for support and suggestions.
NOTE: Hadley Public Library Playgroups follow different protocols - they have recently become mask optional.
We appreciate your assistance with supporting our community’s well being. We will do our best to offer the wonderfully welcoming, fun, and connected programming that we always strive for!
Looking forward to seeing you soon and enjoying our programs together.
Thank you,
Swansea Benham Bleicher (she/her)
