A 3-year-old male child presented with multiple fluid filled lesions over the body for the last 7 days. They initially started over the neck and gradually spread to involve his chest, abdomen, back, upper limb, face and lower limb including flexures. On examination, the child was irritable. His temperature was 1010F with a pulse rate of 148/min. On cutaneous examination, multiple erosions were present over the bilateral upper limb, lower limb, neck, chest, abdomen and scalp. Few vesicles were present over the scalp. Nikolsky sign was positive. Body surface area involved was around 60%. Palms, soles, oral, genital and ocular mucosa were within normal limits. (Figures as below: Multiple well-defined round to oval to irregular erosions along with peeling of skin present over the chest, abdomen and back. Few areas of normal skin with mild erythema are present over the chest and abdomen.)
