Das 55. AFK-Kolloquium 2024 findet vom Mittwoch, 13.3. bis Freitag, 15.3.2024 in Kooperation mit dem PRIF (Leibniz-Institut für Friedens- und Konfliktforschung) und der Technischen Universität Darmstadt/PEASEC/Institut für Politikwissenschaft an der TU Darmstadt statt. Das Kolloquium 2024 soll den Dialog zwischen der sozial- und geisteswissenschaftlichen und der naturwissenschaftlich-technischen Friedensforschung fördern.

"The Disciplines of Peace and Conflict Research in Dialogue: Synergies, Commonalities, and Differences with Scientific and Technical Peace Research"

The 55th AFK Colloquium 2024 will take place from Wednesday, March 13th, to Friday, March 15th, 2024, in collaboration with PRIF (Leibniz Institute for Peace and Conflict Research) and the Technical University of Darmstadt/PEASEC/Institute of Political Science at the TU Darmstadt. The colloquium aims to promote dialogue between the social and human sciences and scientific and technical peace research.

Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten

Für unsere Teilnehmenden haben wir in zwei Hotels ein Zimmerkontingent reserviert, auf das sie bei Bedarf zugreifen können. Das Intercity Hotel befindet sich direkt am Hauptbahnhof Darmstadt, hier kostet ein Einzelzimmer 109€ pro Nacht inklusive Frühstück (Kontingent verfügbar bis 31.01.2024). Das Best Western Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum, hier kostet ein Einzelzimmer 135€ pro Nacht inklusive Frühstück mit dem Stichwort "AFK-Kolloquium 2024" bis zum 13.02.2024.

Allerdings gibt es in Darmstadt selbstverständlich noch weitere Hotels, bei denen sie ein Zimmer buchen können, die keine Kontingentreservierung für uns anbieten konnten. Wir haben Ihnen hier eine Liste zusammengestellt:

Accommodation Options

We have reserved rooms at two hotels if you wish. The Intercity Hotel is located directly at Darmstadt's main train station, where a single room costs €109 per night, including breakfast (contingent available until January 31, 2024). The Best Western Hotel, situated in the city center, offers a single room for €135 per night, including breakfast, with the reference "AFK-Kolloquium 2024" until February 13, 2024.

However, there are other hotels in Darmstadt where you can book a room. Unfortunately we could not make reservations at the list below. We have compiled a list for you with different price options:
