Applied Leadership - This class is designed for aspiring student leaders who are interested in applying leadership skills and increasing engagement in school activities. Goal setting, team building and leadership theory are studied and put into practice through involvement in school activities and community projects. Activities in this class will consist of team building activities, class discussions and self reflection, and preparation for school events.

Tiger Challenge Leadership - This active leadership class contributes to the community and builds practical leadership skills. It teaches the five tenets of Tiger Challenge, Tenacity, Integrity, Gratitude, Expectations, and Respect in a variety of ways including greeting new students, mentoring elementary students and creating an atmosphere of kindness at BAHS. Students in this class may prepare assemblies or events for younger students at BAPS surrounding the five tenets of Tiger Challenge.

Students in the leadership program are expected to display positive attitudes, and active participation in class is expected. Students should be on time for class, participate in all discussions and activities, refrain from using electronic devices unless permitted by the teacher, and always show respect for peers and staff. If students are not cooperating, they may be subject to dismissal. Students are also expected to: 1) Be active members of school organizations. 2) Exhibit enthusiastic school spirit. 3) Be good role models for others. 4) Refrain from any actions or behaviors that are cause for disciplinary actions by school leaders, legal authority and/or community members. 5) Commit to making a difference in their school, community and world.
