Dear Parent/Guardian,


Please see below information regarding the upcoming Early Winter sports season at Holland Middle School. We hope to have your child participate on one of our teams!

In order for a student to participate, the following requirements must be met prior to the first day of the season. If your child participated in a fall sport at HMS during the 2019-20 school year, these requirements have already been met.
 
• A current physical examination form must be on file in the athletic office. In order to be valid for the 2019-20 school year, the physical must have taken place on or after April 15, 2019. Physicals completed prior to this date cannot be accepted. The form must be signed by the parent/guardian and the student.

• Insurance fee of $30 per school year must be submitted to the athletic office. The fee can be waived by submitting a waiver form (available in the athletic office and online at www.hollanddutchsports.com) prior to the first day.

6th-8th Grade Girls Swimming & Diving
Dates: Monday, October 21st – Friday, December 20th (tentative)
Practice Times: 3:15 – 4:45 p.m.
Practice Location: Holland Community Aquatic Center (shuttle bus will transport students to practice from HMS after school each day)

7th Grade Boys Basketball
Dates: Monday, October 21st – Wednesday, December 18th (tentative)
Practice Times: 3:30 – 5:15 p.m. each school day throughout the season
Practice Location: October 21-25 at West K-5. Once teams have been selected, the Red team will practice at Holland Middle School and the White team will practice at West K-5. A shuttle bus will transport students to West K-5 for practice after school each day.
Note: With the middle school football season ending on October 22nd, football players should plan to attend their first basketball practice/tryout on October 24th.
