The Chinatown History & Art Tour (C.H.A.T) program is an immersive, place-based learning opportunity that educates visitors on the art and history of Chinatown’s community activism and resiliency. This guided tour encourages guests to “immerse” their senses at different art activation sites in the neighborhood  and deepen their understanding of Chinatown’s multifaceted social, cultural, and “political evolution” through narratives. Visitors develop and deepen their artistic literacy by engaging with contemporary art and murals in our visual arts gallery and throughout the streets of Chinatown. Come join us in uncovering a multifaceted perspective of rich Asian American history!
