Single Paddler Registration
Registration Payment Policy:
Please complete this form indicating your interest in joining a team for the Dragon Boat Festival. We will do our best to either match you up with an existing team or to form a team with individuals. Once we have 16 paddlers we will reach out again regarding payment.
If once a team is formed and payment is made and the team decides not to participate, the full payment, minus a $100 holding fee, will be returned if the team notifies the Sparta Education Foundation of their intention to withdraw prior to April 1, 2020. Following April 1, 2020, teams will be reimbursed for the full payment, minus a $100 holding fee, only if a replacement team can be named.
Inclement Conditions/Weather Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately, no refunds or credits take place for cancellations of all or part of an event due to weather. These occurrences are rare but do happen. The policy toward weather impacting an event is as follows:
1) No racing takes place with any visible lightning
2) Racing DOES take place under rain conditions
3) Racing does not take place if the water conditions cause a significant risk to participants on the water, due to wind or other potential external factors.
