LCLC Language Peer Tutoring Apprenticeship Class Application Spring 2025: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish
This is an application to be accepted into the Peer Tutoring Apprenticeship class, for undergrads only.

Requirement for this one-credit class: 
1) Have completed with a B:  a 104 class or higher in the language you plan to tutor (104, 200-, 300-, or 400-level class. Spanish Heritage students: 114 or higher.  Transfer students: equivalent of 104 or 114 or higher.
2) Attend a weekly meeting, every Wednesday from 12-12:50pm
3) Apprenticeship: 3 hours of hands-on work per week, scheduled once you register for the class.

After completing this class:
You can apply to be a paid tutor or Language Learning Assistant, do a tutoring internship, or be a volunteer tutor. The Peer Tutoring Apprentice class includes hands-on experience as a peer tutor and/or in-class language learning assistant. This means tutoring or LLA for 3 hours/week in addition to the class, for a total of 4 hours.  This = 1 credit We work with your schedule for this. Do you have time in your schedule for this? *

Apprentice tutors will have the opportunity to be Language Learning Assistants. This means you'd be in a 100-level language classroom at least once per week working with students. It's fun!
