Humans Being (Leeds) CIC is a small but growing organisation with ambitious plans for future development of our portfolio of courses, workshops and training. We are a CIC. The board of directors of the company are like the trustees of a charity.
To help us grow we need experienced members of the public to join our Board as Directors. We are welcoming applications from people with lived experience of mental ill health and / or from culturally diverse backgrounds and / or part of the LGBTQ+ Community.
We are particularly keen to recruit members of the local community in Leeds who have one or more of the following skills:
- Experience of voluntary sector finance management and administration
Psychologists or psychotherapists
Active members of LGBTQ+ communities
Expertise in Digital Marketing or PR
Board meetings are held every three months on Zoom, Thursday evening between 6.30pm and 8 pm. The Board is responsible for setting the strategy and policies of Humans Being and guides and supports the three paid Directors.
