Troop 97 For Girls Interest Form

Germonds Church, The chartering organization for Troop 97 for Boys, Cub Scout Pack 46 and Venturing Crew 97, has authorized the Troop Committee to form a girls troop.

This troop will be run separately from Troop 97 for Boys but will share the adult committee using the linked troop model. What is needed to have a troop for girls?

5 members – At least 5 members or else we cannot form a new troop as per rules governing such things.
Girls should be 11 years old and completed the 5th grade, or for Cub Scouts, be at least 10.5 years old and achieve the Arrow of Light award.

Adult Direct Contact Leaders – we will need a few parents to become ASM’s. Training is provided!
We will need at least one female adult leader present at all troop activities (meetings / trips included)
We will need at least one of these adults to be the scoutmaster.
The SM does not have to be female but could be.
