CaribEd Volunteer Application
CaribEd, originally the Caribbean Education Project, was founded in March 2020 to address the learning disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to students in Guyana preparing for the high-stakes National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA). We have since expanded to serve as a supplementary and emergency back-up educational resource for all grade six students living within the 16 countries participating in the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC). To learn more about our mission and what we do, please visit our website caribed.org.

While we offer many different volunteer positions (content writing, marketing, design), CaribEd is currently prioritizing applications for Content Producers. As a Content Producer, you will be mainly focusing on creating the educational content that is directly distributed to the students in the Caribbean nations. Our Content Producers are currently focused on creating 1 PowerPoint every week and then creating a video accompanying that PowerPoint. These PowerPoints focus on one subtopic in either Math, Science, English, or Social Studies. Content Producers are placed on teams of about 4 members and while assignments are assigned individually, Content Producers are encouraged to work together with their team members and team leaders.

For questions about applying for this role or any other role, please contact: alia@caribed.org. We look forward to reviewing your application!
