Baby Carriers Provided provides weighted demonstration dolls suitable for use in baby carrier education, as well as for other perinatal educational purposes. When new and expecting families are able to hold and manipulate a doll that feels and looks life-like, they can more deeply understand and integrate what they are learning about holding, carrying and caring for their real babies. For an educator, using a weighted doll makes it much easier to accurately demonstrate how to ergonomically and safely hold and wear babies in carriers. For educators wanting to demonstrate lactation positioning, infant massage, or other skills not requiring the life-like weight of a real baby, we are also able to pre-order semi-weighted dolls.

Please use this form to acquaint yourself with the types of dolls we provide, and indicate how many of each size and style you are interested in. Once you submit the form, we'll reach out to you with confirmation and a quote for your particular order.

This form is not legally binding; we will confirm purchases individually. Given the heavy weight of these dolls, shipping is done via USPS priority and costs $25 per shipment, which can fit up to 2 babies (without their original boxes.) For example, shipping will cost $25 regardless if you need 1 or 2 babies shipped. Shipping will cost $50 regardless if you need 3- 4 babies shipped, $75 if you need 5-6 babies, and so on.

When you pre-order dolls with BCP, you will typically be receiving an approximate 20% discount over what you would pay to order dolls directly from the manufacturer (including shipping.)

We import dolls that offer a range of sizes and physical features and skin tones, which more inclusively represent and meet the needs of our community partners. If you specifically need a European/White doll, please let us know at the end of the form so we can provide specific details on how to order these through us.

42cm Dolls - $79 for fully-weighted

$99 - 42cm / 1.8kg (16.5in / 4lb.) Though the actual height and weight of this doll is representative of a premature baby, the perceived feel of this doll is experienced as 6lbs, and would be appropriate when working with expecting families, or families with newborns.

50cm Dolls - Fully Weighted - $89

Fully weighted - 50cm / 2.75kg (19.5in / 6lb). Though the actual height and weight of the doll is representative of a newborn baby, the perceived feel of this doll is experienced as 8-9 lbs, and would be appropriate when working with families with babies ages 1-3 months.

Afro-Caribbean and Asian ethnicities available.

60cm Dolls - $99 for fully-weighted

$129 - 60cm /4.2kg (23.5in / 9.25lb.) Though the actual height and weight of this doll is representative of 3 to 4 month baby, the perceived feel of this doll is experienced as 10-12 lbs, and would be appropriate when working with families with babies ages 4-8 months.

Please note that we order from Touch Needs. In addition to the fully weighted dolls shown here, they also offer semi-weighted and unweighted dolls in different sizes, some with open mouths (for lactation education) and some with other specific anatomical features.
