The Ben Barber/Frontier STEM PTSA Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for Executive Officers and Committee Chair positions for next year’s PTSA Board. Our goal is to see that every parent has a voice on our PTSA and is given the chance to become actively involved in enriching the educational opportunities at Frontier STEM and Ben Barber.

Advocacy Chair (promotes TX PTA legislative information)

Arts in Education (coordinates Reflections contest)

Clothes Closet (coordinates the operations of MISD Clothes Closet volunteers and contest)

Council Delegate (attends MISD PTA Council meetings and communicates information to the Executive Board)

Fundraiser (coordinates fundraising events such as spirit nights, breakfast sales, etc.)

Historian (documents events with photos, creating a memory book for PTSA)

Parliamentarian (advises the Executive Board and members on matters of parliamentary procedure)

Scholarship (coordinates the distribution of scholarships)

Spirit Wear (designs school spirit wear and promotes to teachers, staff and students)

Student Rep - 9th grade

Student Rep - 10th grade

Teacher Appreciation (organize teacher appreciation events throughout the school year, including but not limited to Teacher Appreciation Weeks
