Application for Advisory Board for UCSB Economics Mentoring Program
The UCSB Economics Department is recruiting students to the advisory board for the Economics Department mentoring program for the academic year 2021-2022. The board is responsible for overseeing this program. The advisory board will review mentor applications, develop mentor training sessions, manage mentors, recruit mentees and organize a large mentor-mentee event each quarter. Mentors will be full-major students in Economics or Economics & Accounting and mentees will be students enrolled in Economics 1. The term of service is 1 year and each student member on the advisory board will receive a $500 stipend per quarter of service. The time commitment is 2-5 hours/week. Deadline for applying is Friday, April 30th at 5pm.
