Please fill out this form in entirety. We will start a Facebook group once we have everybody signed up or 120 days before the retreat, whichever comes first.

This Retreat is taking place in Newport, CA. It will be more of a luxury retreat. There will be full classes and discussions but a lot more free time to enjoy your surroundings.

Meals, Lodging, Swag, and Some airport pick up is included.

The Fee is $200

The following are rules we have at our retreats - some of it is for safety, some of it is to make a better healing environment.

1. No Alcohol - with the exception of Thursday night dinner. You will be responsible for your dinner and drinks cost. We do ask that you are responsible and are still coherent enough to care for yourself. If any behavior is deemed as belligerent, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without refund. During retreat time Friday-Sunday, no alcohol will be allowed under any circumstances.

2. Responsibility - Tied at the Heart is not responsible for any injury, sickness, or accident, physical or otherwise. We will never force you to participate in any of our activities. They are a choice. Please use your discretion when choosing activities during free time.

3. Chores - In order to make a nice group like atmosphere and give everyone the chance to get to know each other, we all pitch in with regards to cooking and cleaning up dinners. Groups will be created and assigned and you will be responsible to help your group during those times. The cleaning and cooking is very minimal. You will still have plenty of time to relax and enjoy.

4. Religion - This retreat is not a religious retreat. No one religion owns or runs this retreat. There may be times where a speaker or attendee brings up or speaks about God. We ask that you are respectful and understand everyone is in a different place and nobody is required to subscribe to one ideal.

5. COVID-19 - Tied at the Heart will work to provide necessary equipment to keep the retreat house healthy. We will provide sanitizer and have masks available (but not required to use). We ask you to get a test 48 hours before attending the retreat and to use CDC guidelines and federal regulations while traveling. We ask that if you start to feel symptoms for COVID or any other sickness, you reconsider your attendance and notify the board staff. If you start to exhibit symptoms we reserve the right to ask you to leave and seek medical care.

6. Health Care Professionals - What makes Tied At The Heart special is it is not run my mental health care professionals. It is a peer to peer counseling event. We do not claim to be professionals or give opinions as a professional even if mental health care professionals may be in attendance.  

6. Refunds - No refunds will be given for this retreat. The retreat is already heavily subsidized and we purchase items for the retreat far in advance. If you can no longer attend, you may sell your ticket to another birth mother, but they must fill out this form and you must notify board staff.

7. Have Fun - These retreats are for healing, but they are also for making life long friendships. It may be scary to consider going into a house with other women you have never met. Tied at the Heart works hard to make the environment safe, comforting, and inviting. We want everyone to leave a little better than when they came.
AIRPORTS
We can answer these questions more in depth on the Facebook group and coordinate times, but to give you an idea...
Long Beach and Santa Ana - We can pick you up
LAX - You will need to get your own transportation.

You have to be ready to be picked up from LGB or SNA by 2pm Thursday. We have limited availability (if you are willing to do air mattresses) to pick you up Wednesday night. LAX is 45 minutes away, you will need to rent a car or an Uber.

We cannot take you to the airport Sunday if your flight is before 1pm. If you book an earlier flight, you will need to find your own way to the airport on Sunday morning.
