Right now, the Numbers section consists of 5 to 8 numbers every day that are hyperlinked to their original source. Many readers have said they find these numbers are often misleading without more context, or drawn from polls with small sample sizes, and have pushed back on the section.

Given that the newsletter has limited space, I made the call to limited the Numbers section to one number of the day, then use the space to expound on that number. But a lot of readers wrote in asking to keep it how it is...
