As part of our strategic planning process, we will be forming a variety of committees to ensure that we are getting input from a wide variety of members, and to give people a chance to get more involved. Please review the openings in this form and let us know where you might be interested in helping out!

Conference Committee and subcommittees (Jessica H) - Assist in the coordination and preparation for the 2022 conference, to include promotion, programming, sponsorships, activities and social media.

Marketing Committee (Chairs Rob M and Kelli T)- Re-imagine the CalSPRA brand from the visuals to real-life and digital experiences. Include consideration of the organization’s DEI goals.

Awards Committee and Subcommittees (Jenn D)- Analyze the process and systems for entry types, promotion, collection, judging, and evaluating the overall awards experience. Include consideration of the organization’s DEI goals.

Partnerships/Sponsorships Committee (Angela A)- Analyze the stratification of partners and sponsors of the organization, along with the benefits at each level and access to various member perks. Include consideration of the organization’s DEI goals.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (Chair Needed) - Analyze the dimensions of diversity within CalSPRA, setting baselines and target growth areas and developing implementation plans to get there. Work with other committees to integrate DEI objectives into their initiatives.

APR (Dina G) - Continue the work of promoting, recruiting and implementing the accreditation process within the organization, with special consideration to DEI goals. We are also looking for APRs willing to sit on practice panels!

Membership (Chair needed) - Using data collected through annual surveys and application forms, develop and implement plans related to improving member experience with CalSPRA and the likelihood members will renew. Include suggestions about improvements for membership application and make the membership workflow process as efficient as possible. Include consideration of the organization’s DEI goals.

Issues Management (Chair needed) - Monitor current and potential issues facing education and communication with stakeholder groups. When needed, develop appropriate sample messaging and guidance for organizational members. May include work with the F3 partnership. Include consideration of the organization’s DEI goals.
