Which part of Navajo County do you live in?  Auxiliary members are assigned to the closest NCSO substation.  Currently the northern half of the county (including Winslow, Joseph City and Holbrook) is served by a combination of these four substations *
Do you have any particular skills which would apply?  Note:  Every successful applicant goes through our academy so having no prior experience should not be considered a deterrent to applying.
Do you have a valid driver's license and will you be able to pass a detailed background check?  All applicants are vetted by the Auxiliary and the Navajo County Sheriff's Department prior to acceptance *

Summary
Once you have submitted this application you will be contacted by the Unit Commander for the location in which you've indicated.  You will then need to complete a rather lengthy application which will be provided to you by the Unit Commander.  Once the application is reviewed we will have you fingerprinted and the background check will be done by NCSO.  Upon successfully passing the background check you will be scheduled for the next academy, which will be either in April or October.  In the meantime we will mentor you and provide you with the necessary materials to help make you a productive member of your unit.  You will be able to help out at events, incidents and patrols prior to graduating from academy.
