This is an open event to watch a documentary that
uncovers the killings of Ukrainian children by the Russian army. The film sheds light on the tragic stories of three children who fell victim to Russian military gunfire in 2022. Among them were 12-year-old Vladyslav Mahdyk — killed in Kyiv Oblast in March, 15-year-old Mykhailo Ustianivskyi — killed in Kherson Oblast in April, and 10-year-old Kateryna Vinarska. Journalists not only comprehensively documented the general circumstances of these tragic deaths but also unearthed significant details that enable us to assess the intent and gravity of these crimes. The movie "Bullet Holes" was produced by
the War Crimes Investigation Unit of
the Kyiv Independent.
At the event, one hour of the screening will be followed by an hour of discussion with the movie’s author, Danylo Mokryk. The event will be held in English.
