Open Mic at "Lights on Creston"

The Creston Neighborhood has their annual shop hop called "Lights on Creston" on December 8. During this time we will be providing a chance for people to check out the DAAC and enjoy some live entertainment from 4:30-8:30pm!

**PLEASE READ THE DETAILS BELOW BEFORE SIGNING UP**

DAAC location:
1553 Plainfield Ave NE, Unit #4, Grand Rapids, MI 49505
The DAAC's door is located on Saunders Ct and has our logo on it. There is an accessible ramp entrance at the back of the building and there is also a ramp to get onto the performance platform.

Using this form, performers can sign up for a 15 minute Open Mic Slot including, but not limited to:
-Poetry or spoken word
-Comedy
-Acting
-Dance
-Musical performances - Bring your instrument, cables, power & anything else needed. We will have the PA, monitors, mics, mic stands, DI boxes for keys or acoustic, backing track device hookup, full drum kit, 1 bass amp, 2 guitar amps, 1 electric guitar & 2 ukuleles

You will be sent an email the week of the event from info@thedaac.org with reminders such as:
-confirmation of your time slot, performance & when to arrive (we strongly suggest arriving 20 minutes before your performance time). If you no longer can perform, we will reopen the time slot for other performers.
-parking & load-in instructions
-COVID & Safe Space reminders (see below)

OTHER REMINDERS:
**This event is FREE to the public which means there is no admission fee and no payment to performers. We will place a "tip" jar on the stage during your performance if people would like to support your performance monetarily.

**This event will be run by volunteers
**COVID guidelines: masks are required to be in the space. all attendees must participate in contact tracing, temp check, 6 foot social distancing, and Performers may take off their masks if needed when Performing.
