It’s your dancer's chance to share the spotlight with the special guy in her life!

The Special Guy & Me Dance provides our dancers an opportunity to dance with their Special Guy during the recital performance for a memory that lasts forever! We invite dads, grandpas, uncles, big brothers, and family friends to perform with your dancer!

All current FDC dancers are invited to participate.

The first 2 classes are FDC dancers only to get  the choreography, and then the Special Guys attend the next 2 classes so their dancer is helping to teach their special guy.

Special Guys attend 2 in-studio rehearsals with their dancer to learn their “guy-friendly” dance and also practice at home through a video online.

Both Special Guys and dancers MUST attend the dress rehearsal for their show.

All practice classes and rehearsals are closed to moms!  Don’t worry – we’ll take good care of them, and it makes for an AWESOME surprise!

Special Guys will receive a SPECIAL flower bouquet to give to his dancer for letting him share the stage with her. It’s an event you WON’T want to miss!

***YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE RECITAL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE Special Guy & Me Dance!***

This will be one of the most beloved parts of the recital performance!!!

Special guys should wear a collared long-sleeve white shirt, black trousers, and black dress shoes.

Dancers wear their favorite outfit in pink or white, and pink ballet shoes.

If a dancer doesn’t have a pink or white outfit, we have outfits that they may borrow.  
If a dancer doesn't have a willing Special Guy, we have plenty of willing theatre and dance guys who would love to fill in.  

Participation in this dance is voluntary.

Purchase of an additional costume is not required.

There is a $35 fee per couple to cover the cost of teacher salaries for rehearsals and the flower bouquet.  Fee is due at the first rehearsal.

Saturday 4/27 1pm - 2pm
Saturday 5/4 1pm - 2pm
Sunday 5/19 1pm - 2pm - with their special guys
Saturday 6/1 1pm - 2pm - with their special guys
