Our primary vet partner is located in Salinas. Are you able to transport foster pets in your care to and from appointments set up by SCAR to vet visits and to SCAR events, if needed? *

We will also be scheduling a yard/home check for any fosters that are being considered by SCAR. Do you understand this? *

FOSTER AGREEMENT AND WAIVER - I understand and agree that if approved to foster, the animal in my care is the property of SCAR and I do not have the right to harm, sell, give away, or provide any type of medical treatment without the permission from one of SCAR's Board Members. FOSTER AGREEMENT AND WAIVER - I understand and agree that SCAR can, at any time, change their decision on my ability to foster, and that I am at no time ever to commit SCAR to any owner surrender animals or rescue pulls without discussion and approval by a SCAR Board Member. FOSTER AGREEMENT AND WAIVER - I understand and agree that there is always a slight risk that the foster animal could harbor a contagious illness. My animals are currently vaccinated and should they or a family member happen to become ill as a result of my foster pet, I will not hold SCAR responsible. I understand the possibility of risk of transferring disease-causing microorganisms during animal-handling activities from SCAR animals to myself and to my own personal animals or vice versa (examples: giardia, mange, ringworm, etc) and I understand that I am expected to use all precautionary measures possible if fostering an ill animal by using gloves and disinfecting often with SCAR provided supplies. FOSTER AGREEMENT AND WAIVER - I hereby grant and convey unto SCAR all rights, title and interest in all photographs, images and video or audio recordings made by SCAR (or provided by myself) during any foster activities. Please type your name below if you understand and agree to this agreement. *
