Description of 300 Mile Year End Awards Program and Eligibility
Horse mileage program must be renewed each year at $10 per horse. Must be signed up within 30 days of your first ride of the season. All miles are recorded by Tammi Thomas and must be sent to her within 30 days after ride is complete. Please submit this online form when possible (preferred), or you may report your results via email to Tammimedina@gmail.com. Include the following: Horse's name, Rider, Ride Name and Date, Distance Completed (must be 25 miles or more) and Placing (which includes if you got best condition for endurance or grand or reserve champion in competitive).

DBDR High Point Horse and Year End 300 Mile Award
Points will be calculated for high point horse in all distances in endurance and/or competitive rides 25 miles or greater. Award will be given for first Junior Rider with the high point horse and first Senior Rider with the high point horse. Must have at least 50 miles to be eligible for the high point award.

In order to be eligible for the 300 mile award:
A. The rider will need to work one day of a DBDR club sponsored ride. Working will consist of a full day on the ride date or the work day may consist of marking a trail loop and unmarking the same loop as designated by the ride manager.
B. Must obtain 300 miles during the year which may include the extra work day miles*.
C. Mileage program is for the horse, and not necessarily the owner. However, for the miles to count each rider for the horse must be a DBDR member.
D. Work credit for the 300 mile year end award must be done by the rider who has the most miles accumulated on the horse in the mileage program and not the individual who paid for the horse to be in the program.

* Should a member work any additional days at a club sponsored ride you will earn 25 points additional towards the 300 mile award for each additional day you work.. Managing a ride is additional 50 points. Email the ride manager to sign up for a day to work. Cap for extra points for working is 75 points.
