If you are an international act, Tumaini Festival cannot cover transport costs or performance fees for artists travelling from outside Malawi. Please outline in detail how you will fund your trip to the festival

If you are based in Malawi, Tumaini Festival does not pay performance fees to artists, but can cover transport to and from Dzaleka Refugee Camp as well as meals. Please let us know if you are OK of with this arrangement

Tumaini Festival is all about promoting peaceful coexistence between refugees and host community, promoting mutual understanding and intercultural harmony. We encourage artists to come with ideas for collaboration and sharing knowledge. If you want to engage through a workshop or an exchange session, we are happy to hear your idea!
