Area 30 Inventory Questions- JFT Input
On Sunday, November 7, 2022, Area 30 (Eastern Massachusetts) will conduct an inventory with the hope of getting more groups to participate in the Area. The collective group conscience of each group is expressed through its General Service Representative (GSR).

Please consider the questions below that will be discussed and offer your feedback.  Our group GSR will attend the inventory and represent our collective voice based on our input.

1. Concept I, "the final responsibility and the ultimate authority for A.A. world services should always reside in the collective conscience of our whole Fellowship." This means that the A.A. groups hold the ultimate responsibility and final authority. Does Area 30 assist in this understanding and if not, what can the Area do to support and provide what’s needed to reach this goal?
2. How can we improve the methods of encouraging and selecting effective leaders as well as nurturing leadership qualities in our trusted servants?
3. One of the Areas responsibilities is to communicate service information among trusted servants, groups, districts and the area committee. How effective is the Area committee in serving this purpose? What can be done to improve its effectiveness?
4. Does Area 30 provide a safe environment for members to participate, free from discrimination due to age, gender, racial, sexual orientation?

5. Who are the underrepresented alcoholics in Area 30? What can be done to overcome difficulties in attracting these people? Is Area 30 including or excluding participation?
6. What can we as an Area do to make participation at the Area more attractive?
7. Does Area 30 make a point to encourage all members to participate in all Three Legacies of Recovery, Unity and Service?

9. Are Area 30 Conference Committee’s effectively getting their message to all who are in need of that message?
