Come on out to Downtown Hempstead, TX for the Hempstead Watermelon Festival on July 15th  & July 16th

Along with cookoff there will be Live Entertainment, Watermelon Contest, Food Vendors, Booths, Kiddie Rides and much more!!

$20,000 Payout in Cash and Prizes

$250 entry fee for the four (4) meat categories: Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket.

Chicken: 12 pm
Ribs: 1 pm
Pork: 2 pm
Brisket: 3 pm
