Thank you for your interest in participating in the Temple Education Scholars program.
This dual enrollment program is designed for rising seniors who are interested in being a teacher and majoring in education in college. Participating students will engage in coursework (5 courses or 15 credits) throughout their senior year, on the path to earning a Bachelor's degree in education from an institution of higher education.
The first course, Why Care about College: Higher Education in American Life, and block of programming, will begin on August 8th and the bulk of the work will conclude on August 19th. We will ask students to leave M-F, 9:00 am- 4:30 pm free on these days. The fall semester will begin on August 22nd. At this time, students will be asked to leave 1:30 - 5:00 pm free, to attend TES classes and programming, until the end of the academic year. TES and our partners at Mastery Charter Schools will work together to reach out to your roster chairs so this scheduling can be accommodated.
