Hillel Milwaukee is excited to announce the launch of a new community program, the Madrich Network. The Madrich Network is a mentorship program aimed at bringing Hillel Milwaukee’s Junior and Senior students together with community professionals and leaders. In Hebrew, Madrich translates to a guide or counselor.
So what does becoming a student mentee in the Madrich Network mean?
- A willingness to learn and grow with your mentor
- Bringing your authentic and engaged self to all meetings
- A virtual orientation with other student mentees in the Madrich Network
- Three in-person cohort events (kick-off, mid-year, and end-of year)
- A commitment of six one-on-one mentorship conversations (three per semester) to be scheduled together
In the program’s inaugural year, we are committed to creating meaningful partnerships and aim to appropriately match student mentees with mentors. Therefore, depending on the professional expertise of our mentors, your application does not guarantee a mentorship match.
Applications for student mentees close on Friday, July 30.
After acceptance into the Madrich Network, you will be sent more details including cohort meetings dates.
