While SHPE stands for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, you do not have to be a specific race and/or ethnicity to join SHPE. SHPE is open to all of STEM. As long as you are majoring, or interested in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, you are welcome! Just note: there is a strong emphasis on engineering in SHPE.
NVC SHPE meetings are anticipated to take place bi-weekly on Tuesdays, from 12:00-1:30pm at the MESA/STEM Center (Rooms 2210 & 2220). Our first meeting is an introduction to the Club, and meeting the Board Members on August 22nd in room 2220. We hope to see you then!
