Public Swimming Pool Operators Competency Exam
Idaho requires every public swimming pool to be under the supervision on an "operator" (IDAPA 16.02.14.200). An operator is defined as "an individual eighteen (18) years or older, who is familiar with the operation of the pool and is responsible for the health and safety of the public using the pool and for operating the pool in compliance with these rules". In order to meet this requirement, SCPHD has created this exam and online resources in order for Operators to obtain a "District Health Department Certification" (IDAPA 16.02.14.12).

Answer the question below to the best of your ability. You must pass with a score of 70% or higher (a total of 53 questions will need to be answered correctly). Each question is worth 1 point. You may use the materials provided on the SCPHD website to aid you in answering the questions.
