Survey on Masked Hour(s) at the Library
With our updated Temporary Safe Practices Policy, we no longer will require masks for general library use if the CDC’s COVID-19 Community Level metrics have Columbia County as “Low” (or equivalent) and there is no mask mandate at the Hudson City School District. We will shift back to requiring masks when either of these metrics change. Staff and team members are required to wear a mask when providing service to a library visitor who is masked. And all visitors, staff, and team members are encouraged to wear masks in the library.

As part of our updated policy, the Director or delegated staff may temporarily require mask-wearing for a designated library area and/or for a specified period of time in order to ensure public health or provide access for at-risk people or populations. This survey seeks to gain input into whether or not designated mask-required hours at the library would be helpful in providing access for you or your family. Please feel free to share this survey with others who you think would be interested in sharing their input.
