Reading is Grand! 6/9/23
Powhatan County Public Library & Community Matters are partnering to host Reading is Grand! The program pairs grandreaders age 5yrs - 10 yrs & 55+, to practice reading aloud - located at PCPL. Children can bring their favorite book(s) appropriate for their own reading level. As we pair the younger generation with the elder generation to read together, we are hoping that it opens the door to more intergenerational programming. Children and adults encountering each other and investing themselves toward the other generation… looking ahead to new ideas and new and hopeful places to go with a book.
