2023-2024 Valley Pathways Application
Valley Pathways provides opportunities for students who would prefer a small school learning environment, students who want to finish their core requirement courses early so that they can pursue other opportunities around the district, and students who have fallen behind in credits but have decided they want to graduate. The application below helps our team to know which of those students you are and helps us to plan which opportunities you'll need access to at VPS.

Valley Pathways has limited special education options available. Many students who have services provided in special education settings will be better served at one of Matsu's outstanding comprehensive high schools. 

District Office staff will have to review all special education records before determining if VPS is an option for students who receive or have received special education services.

VPS Framework Survey - Baseline Assessment
The next set of questions asks you to self-assess your skills in The Building Blocks for Learning. These areas form the Valley Pathways Framework, and low scores in some, most, or all areas are okay, as you have not yet begun your work at VPS. Valley Pathways helps students develop all of these skills through our classrooms, our disciplinary actions, our counseling services, and in everything we will ask you to do at our school. Valley Pathways uses the Building Blocks of Learning to guide the work in our school. To ensure we are providing adequate services to our students, we administer the VPS Framework Survey (the questions above) to students periodically throughout their attendance at Valley Pathways.
