The AP-LS Professional Development of Women committee (PDW) is pleased to offer Caregiving Grants for virtual conference preparation/attendance for the 2021 Virtual Conference and webinars.

DEFINITIONS:
-For the purpose of this grant, caregiving is broadly defined as, "any activity that requires the direct care of a child, elderly person, ill individual, or another care-recipient with some level of impairment."
-In addition, "conference-related activity" is defined as "any task related to 2021 conference activities including presentation preparation (e.g., data analyses, poster composition, meetings with research team), poster presentation, or virtual conference or webinar attendance."

The committee plans to award grants of $100-$500, with priority to first authors and presenters.  

Eligibility:  Open to AP-LS student and non-student members, of all gender identities.  

DEADLINE:  Rolling, but on a first come, first served basis. For applications proposing to use the funds for virtual attendance, proof of attendance is required before the funds are dispersed.
