This is an interest form for us to gauge interest in our community to open a school at Ruby Ranch. To begin, this will be a private accredited school, run by licensed educators and support staff. We will launch Kindergarten in Fall 2024 using donations from a local family to build a kindergarten classroom. If there is enough interest in our community our big goal is to still renovate our barn to open to upper grades - we currently have plans drawn and bids provided to make this happen!

We met with several people regarding charter or private school and how we are currently set up, we feel our best bet is to move forward with remaining private. If we are a charter school we could lose control of small class sizes, who we hire, curriculum choices, state testing control and our outdoor play and outdoor learning options could be limited. By remaining private we can keep true to our current mission and control small class sizes. Please know that we will work hard to write grants that provide scholarships to families that need them as we continue to grow.
