Thank you for your interest in our Framing Views Art Activity kit at the Dr Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden! This art activity is inspired by our traditional leak windows that frame and reveal Garden views.
This activity is very adaptable and can be used for all Grades.

This form enables you to access a lesson plan, which includes teaching notes about the concepts of a Chinese Garden and leak windows, plus photocopiable materials for the activity.

You can also book one of our knowledgeable facilitators to talk to your class on the virtual platform of your choice about the Garden and the themes of this activity (approx 20 mins)

You can also order some materials for this activity: cardstock frames, bamboo-design paper straws and paper plates to create a 3-D effect frame. (These kits are pick-up only from two addresses in Vancouver or the Chinese Garden at weekends).

Lesson Kit (including teaching notes and photocopiable materials) only = $20
Lesson + craft kit = $40
All of the above plus a short, virtual, Grade-appropriate presentation = $50
