MSLax needs your assistance in running programs and activities which help grow MN and surrounding area girl's youth lacrosse. We are looking for people who can offer their time to help us with this mission. Please see below for open positions in MSLax and your opportunity to provide us with background information on how you can help us grow lacrosse in the Minnesota area. Each position is a 2-year commitment. Please volunteer to help us grow lacrosse! Below is a listing of job descriptions. You can pick from selected positions below these descriptions.

PRESIDENT (voting position) - The president shall preside at all meetings of members and of the board of directors, shall have all authority and responsibility necessary to direct the operation of the Corporation, and shall perform such duties as are ordinarily incident to the office of the president, subject to the authority and direction of the board of directors. The president shall be responsible for implementing all decisions and policies adopted by the board of directors and shall be the Corporation’s spokesperson with other organizations.

SECRETARY (voting position) - The secretary shall be the custodian of the records, schedule meetings, keep the minutes or other record of all meetings or other actions of the organization and the board of directors, prepare and supervise all notices and mailings, and perform such other duties as are ordinarily incident to the office of the secretary or as may be prescribed by the president and the board of directors.

DIRECTOR OF EVENTS (voting position) - The director of events shall oversee any and all events and tournaments sponsored or sanctioned by the Corporation, and perform other duties as are ordinarily incident to the role of director of events or as may be prescribed by the president and the board of directors.

DIRECTOR OF RULES, POLICY & LEAGUE OPERATIONS (voting position) - The director of rules, policy and league operations shall oversee the implementation of the Corporation’s bylaws, rules, policies and procedures, oversee rules of conduct for coaches and players participating in league and tournaments, and perform other duties as are ordinarily incident to the role of rules, policy, and league operations director or as may be prescribed by the president and the board of directors.

12U AGE COORDINATOR - acts as liaison between 12U constituents and the Board of Directors handling age-related issues or questions surrounding league play, waivers, & growth of lacrosse in specific community.

14U AGE COORDINATOR - acts as liaison between 14U constituents and the Board of Directors handling age-related issues or questions surrounding league play, waivers, & growth of lacrosse in specific community.
