As old as the City of Edinburgh itself, the High Kirk of St Giles will celebrate its 900th anniversary in 2024. You can help preserve St Giles’ for the next 900 years by becoming a member of the 1124 Society. Your support will ensure that the 900th anniversary can be celebrated by local people, visitors and pilgrims. It will ensure that this magnificent symbol of our heritage continues to play a role in the lives of the people of Scotland. 

While we are always grateful for gifts of any value to help the life and mission of St Giles’, in this important anniversary year a gift of £1,124 or more will be rewarded with membership of The 1124 Society.

As a member of The 1124 Society you will receive: a medal depicting St Giles', a plaque with your name on a chair in the nave of the church, and a certificate of authentication.
